Gilmer County Government

  • Performs routine and preventive maintenance and service on vehicles and equipment.
  • High School diploma or GED; supplemented by training in mechanics, automotive maintenance, and equipment/vehicle operation; 3 years of experience or training in automotive maintenance/repair, mechanical/engine diagnosis, transmission and brake repair, and vehicle operation. ASE Technician Certification preferred.
  • Operation of heavy equipment requires a valid Georgia CDL, including appropriate endorsements.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Hours are 7:00am – 3:30pm

Pay range: $15.00-17.00/hourly, depending on qualifications.
