Voters who are elderly and disabled are normally entitled to make one absentee application, and its rollover to all elections in the cycle. However, for any special primary, special primary runoff, special election, or special election runoff, voters in this category are required to apply separate and distinct applications for an absentee ballot. This means, any elderly and disabled voter as described in O.C.G.A. § 21-2-381 (a)(1)(G), and SEB Rule 183-1-14-.01 (1) and (2) will have to request an absentee ballot for the special primary on June 17, 2025, possible special primary runoff on July 15, 2025, special election on November 4, 2025, and possible special election on December 2, 2025.
