
County Clerk
This position is the official custodian of records for all actions taken by the Board of Commissioners. Responsibilities include preparing and publishing agendas, preparing minutes and the informational notebooks for the board meetings, distributing the board actions to the constitutional officers and department heads, and maintenance of the records.
The County Clerk is also the official custodian of County contracts, leases, resolutions and ordinances.

Open Records Request
To the Requestor:
The information being requested is subject to fees pursuant to O.C.G.A. 50-18-71, which allows for a research fee equal to the hourly rate of the lowest paid employee capable of researching the requested information. Pursuant to the law, you will not be charged for the first 15 minutes of research.
In addition, a per page copy or print cost of 25 cents will be charged. Allow at least three (3) business days for researching. You will be contacted when your information is ready to be picked up. All open records requests should be submitted to:
